The motif kawung kencana wungu is a combination of kawung and kencana wungu motif. At the stage of the creation of the main motif of batik kawung kencana wungu, the process of stilization (tutilization) of the form becomes important because the fact of batik motif is the simplification of the form and symbolic,without abandoning the artistic and aesthetic rules. Batik is one of the original forms of indonesianhandicraft hat has been known to the world. In 2019, The Study Center of Batik Nusantara (BATARA) was established by LPPM Universitas Brawijaya Malang. BATARA as a service center initiation container to maintain Indonesian culture, especially batik. In 2020 through the Doctoral Program of community service, Batara managed to create a batik motif kawung Kencana Wungu that can be used as clothing material for official employee of Universitas Brawijaya.
