Abstract

Voltage source converter (VSC) based multi-terminal HVDC systems (MTHVDC) require rigid detection and fault clearing techniques capable of detecting commonly occurring faults. Furthermore, reduction of installation cost implies minimizing the expensive current and voltage sensors.
