Abstract

This work aimed to optimize the production of hot mix asphalt (HMA) from the use of asphalt-rubber. For that, the mechanical performance of asphalt mixtures produced with different binders was evaluated: commercial asphalt-rubber (AR08), asphalt crumb rubber 10% (AR10) and 15% (AR15), and conventional asphalt (PEN 50-70). For the composition of these mixtures, the optimum asphalt contents were defined by the Marshall design.
