Abstract

This paper presents the operation of a buck-converter for smooth starting of a Permanent Magnet DC Motor using Fuzzy Gain scheduling. In this work dc-dc buck converter is used as a input voltage source converter to the motor, further the trajectory control of the motor for a given reference speed has been implemented using Fuzzy Gain scheduling. The effectiveness of the presented work is validated using the rigorous simulations using MATLAB/Simulink.
