Abstract

The battery management system (BMS) measures cells voltage, temperature and battery current, acting as security controller, monitoring and reporting the state of the battery and also balancing it. It must be accurately validated and tested before to use. The HiL test is the better solution to test it in order to develop algorithms in a fast way, to test the BMS board using a secure and reproducible way, and to simulate extreme condition of lithium cells.
