The issue of lidar re-calibration during methane measurements in the areas of oil platform operation zones in wind conditions is considered. It is noted that due to the low efficiency of gas flares, part of the methane does not burn and spreads in the atmosphere by wind. It is noted that in the presence of a headwind towards the meter, an increase in the concentration of not only methane, but also aerosol is observed. Abstract
The issues of carrying out lidar measurements of methane concentration in oil production platform operation zones are analyzed.
