The method used in this research is classroom action research. This research was carried out in 2 cycles, each cycle having four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subject in the study is class XI at SMK Nurul Fallah Cikalongkulon Cianjur for the academic year 2021/2022, the chosen one is class XI-Hospitality accommodation with 28 students. The research instrument uses a mathematical communication ability test. According to the results of the study, the application of the Reciprocal Teaching model can improve students' mathematical communication skills in matrix material, this can be seen from students' classical mastery and N-Gain analysis.
