Abstract
Abstract
Changes in the spatial land use structure of cities have exacerbated social issues, including reduced social adjustment among residents of urban residential complexes. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of social capital and its dimensions on social adaptation among residents of residential complexes in Isfahan in 1398 with a combination of sociological and psychological theories. This research was conducted by survey and data were collected by a questionnaire with appropriate reliability and validity. The statistical population of this study includes all individuals and households living in residential complexes in Isfahan. 385 residents were selected as a sample according to Cochran's formula by cluster and multi-stage random sampling. For data analysis from descriptive statistics (average and percentage) And inferential statistics (confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling method) were used with SPSS and AMOS software. The results showed that there is a direct relationship between social capital and its dimensions (social trust, social networking and normativeness) with residents' social adjustment. And there is meaning.
