Abstract

Two series of samples of a copper-cobalt spinel catalyst obtained by various methods have been tested. The effect of the binding agent on the thermal stability and the catalytic activity of the samples in the oxidation of carbon monoxide to carbon dioxide is studied. A kinetic method was used which permitted the determination of the active phase only, both on a support and in the skeleton of the binding agent.
