Abstract
Official Polish data, published by National Institute of Public Health, show that the flu season lasts from October to April of the following year, with the peak incidence between January and March. Since the beginning of the epidemic season 2018/2019, cases caused by influenza A virus constitute 99.1%, with 56.9% cases caused by the virus A/H1N1/pdm2009 and 43.1% - virus A/H3N2/. The incidence of influenza caused by B virus was 0.9% (1,2).
