Due to various etiologies behind epilepsy, causes, manifestation, and treatment of anxiety and depression all have unique aspects. We think there are multiple reasons behind anxiety disorders and depression in children with epilepsy, varying from the physiological nature of the epilepsy itself to the environmental factors such as family, parenting, and social status.
