Especially, considering that, although Chile won the victory in early 1839, the troops remained for a long time in Lima. Abstract
: The following work aims to carry out a historiographic review of the war of Chile against the Peru-Bolivian Confederation, analyze what were the main approaches, their sources and demonstrate the lack of work dedicated to studying the presence of the Chilean army while in Peru (1837-1839).
