Abstract

Taking the 500kV double circuit transmission line in Fujian Province as the research object, the lightning protection performance of the transmission line under the arrangement of porcelain insulators and composite insulators is studied, and the influence of wind speed on its lightning protection performance is analyzed based on the statistical distribution characteristics of wind speed and direction in the jurisdiction. Furthermore, providing a feasible basis for the transformation of 500kV lines into composite insulators in the offshore areas of Fujian Province.
