It was inaugurated on July 25, 2015, in the President's Estate and is catering to the medical needs of the President, Officials of the President's Secretariat, and residents of the President's Estate. It is a step to take forward the vision of Government of India (GOI) to encourage the Indian Systems of Medicine and Homoeopathy. Over the 7 years of its functioning, AWC has endeavored to bring to fruition the recommendations mentioned in National AYUSH Mission and National Health Policy. AWC has become a precursor to many such clinics in different government departments and AIIMS across the country. Abstract
