For the problem of stability of a circular cylindrical shell is given the comparison of the authors' results obtained using the FEM with the experimental results of V.G. Sazonov and the calculations of A.V. Abstract
The problems of stability of some beams, Π-shaped frames and cylindrical shells with the elasto-plastic material are considered. The possibility of modeling bars using finite elements of various types is studied.
