Learning independence under study is learning independence with indicators of responsibility, strong self confidence and creative thinking. The data collected were analyzed using product moment correlation. The correlation between independent learning and science learning outcomes is  = 0.5 which is in the very low category. Based on the results of data analysis t-count = 2.66 and t-table = 2.080 because t-count > t-table, it can be concluded that there is no positive and significant relationship between student learning independence and student learning outcomes of class VII SMP Negeri 3 Lubuklinggau academic year 2020/2021. Abstract
