Abstract
The article considers a wide range of problems associated with the management of radioactively contaminated soils (RCS). It presents and analyzes the main research milestones, as well as modern approaches, in particular, those addressing the nuclear legacy decommissioning stage involving the cleanup of relevant nuclear sites. The paper describes the subject area dealing with RCS. It presents the developed requirements for the implementation of a process flowchart providing RCS management considering an "ideal" facility.
