Australia’s Latest Strategy for the Development of Critical Minerals

Abstract

The reports related to critical minerals published by the Australian government and state-owned organizations were analyzed to summarize the policy direction for Australia's critical minerals. To understand the current status, 371 critical mineral projects in Australia were analyzed by region, metal, and project status. To provide an insight for building a robust supply chain in Korea, the critical mineral strategy of the Australian government was categorized into threat factors, acts to overcome them, and the vision and detailed goals.
