In laboratory, we prepared a cationic polyacrylamide (CPAM) emulsion with acrylamide (AM) and acryloyloxyethyltrimethyl ammonium chloride(DAC) through dispersion polymerization in aqueous solution of ammonium sulfate. The influencing factors on the polymerization reaction were studied, and the optimal reaction conditions were obtained. The characterization of CPAM emulsion was measured by IR, DSC and Particle size tester. Abstract
