In this study, researchers try to identify gamers’ psychological strengths and areas for improvement through qualitative content analysis. Interviews were conducted with five gamers and a coach from a professional Rainbow Six team to explore their experiences after getting 6 losses out of 8 matches during the competition. The interviews resulted in three main factors: healthy lifestyles and habits, emotional self-management and development of high-performance teams as areas for improvement.
