The average skin reaction and sensitization rate observed at 48 h were 0.0 and 0% in the KOH-treatment group, respectively, and 2.0 and 100% in the positive control group, respectively. Abstract

This study was to evaluate the skin sensitization of potassium hydroxide (KOH) by the guinea pig maximization test.
