Abstract

Objective

To demonstrate a case of late detection of complete androgen insensitivity syndrome (CAIS).

Case report

A case of CAIS is presented, which was identified in a patient at 32 years old. A complete general examination was carried out. A two-stage operation, which consists in gonadectomy and colpopoesis was completed. In removed gonads no signs of malignancy were found.

Discussion
