Abstract

Background: Tension-type headache is frequently reported by the patients. Objective: The purpose of the present study was to see the status of thyroid hormones among chronic tension type headache patients. Methodology: This study was conducted in the Department of Neurology at Dhaka Medical College, Dhaka, Bangladesh. The study subjects consisted of patients presented with primary headache disorders. 背景:紧张性头痛常被患者报道。目的:观察慢性紧张性头痛患者甲状腺激素水平的变化。方法:本研究在孟加拉国达卡医学院神经内科进行。研究对象包括有原发性头痛疾病的患者。结果:慢性TTH亚型占21.0%。在42例慢性紧张性头痛患者中,12例有亚临床症状,另外12例有明显的甲状腺功能减退。不同亚型头痛与甲状腺状态的关系有统计学差异。结论:甲状腺功能减退是慢性紧张性头痛的共同发病或诱发因素。孟加拉国国家神经科学研究所杂志,2022年7月;8(2):189-192
