Abstract

The authors have been conducting a survey on violence in secondary schools in and about Strasbourg. Within the framework of this research-work, they have tried, with the help of teachers and students, to define violence and how it is perceived. Their aim is to think about the ways to react, effectively but without undue alarm, in the face of these events, which are not to be minimized.
