Abstract

The paper analyzes the results obtained by studying the movement of individual grain boundaries and individual triple junctions depending on their crystallography and grain boundary phase transitions and their deviation from classical behavior. Based on statistical data on the appearance of faceting and hysteresis at individual tilt grain boundaries, as well as the nature of their movement, it can be concluded about the possible nature of the heterogeneity of the microstructure in space and in time. And this means that it is possible to obtain isotropic microstructures.
