Abstract

ABSTRACTThe concentration fluctuations in long wavelength limit and thermodynamic properties, i.e. free energy of mixing, heat of mixing, entropy of mixing and activity of the components involved in the Zn-Sn binary liquid alloy at a specified temperature, have been investigated using a familiar formalism in which the combined effect of size ratio, entropic and enthalpic effect is considered.
