Abstract
The Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA), a collaboration between East Asia, Europe and North America and now under construction, will be a single research instrument composed of 66 high-precision antennas located near Cerro Chajnantor, at 5000m in the Chilean Andes.
