Currently, three preparations, including imiglucerase (Cerezyme®, Genzyme Corporation, MA, USA), taliglucerase alfa (Elelyso®, Pfizer Inc., NY, USA) and velaglucerase alfa (VPRIV®, Shire Human Genetic Therapies Inc., Dublin, Ireland), are commercially available.
