Therefore, the purpose of this study was to trace the dynamics of geospatial literacy in students of tourism during the bachelor’s and partly master’s levels of study at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv and find its possible links to the curricular and extracurricular offering of the institution. The study comprised two parts: analysis of the curricula at both levels, specifically syllabi of compulsory and elective disciplines and course descriptions, and a comparative assessment of students’ geospatial orientation in the city of Lviv with a special focus on its tourist attractions using the method of cognitive mapping. Students of the 1st and 4th year of the bachelor’s program, as well as the 1st year of the master’s program participated in the study. 空间定位,除了对人类生存至关重要外,也是旅游专业毕业生的关键专业能力之一。因此,在整个旅游大学课程中发展空间定位对未来该领域的专家至关重要。迄今为止,乌克兰高等教育还没有解决培训旅游专业学生在形成空间取向方面的有效性问题。因此,本研究的目的是追踪利沃夫伊万·弗兰科国立大学本科和部分硕士阶段旅游专业学生地理空间素养的动态,并找到其与该机构课程和课外提供的可能联系。该研究包括两个部分:分析两个级别的课程,特别是必修课和选修课的教学大纲和课程描述,以及使用认知制图方法对利沃夫市学生的地理空间定位进行比较评估,特别关注其旅游景点。本科一年级和四年级的学生以及硕士一年级的学生参与了研究。研究结果表明,多年来,学生在城市中的空间取向有了显著的改善,并表明大学提供的课程和课外活动与所观察到的进步呈正相关。
