Abstract
The paper reviews the issue of the economic and mathematical method application, in particular, the planning systems based on linear programming in improving the efficiency of the enterprise management. The complexity of the task of optimizing the production program of oil refining and petrochemical companies, the solution of which requires taking into account many factors, is noted.
