Abstract
The concept of risk communication (RC) in the era of COVID-19 pandemic needs to be highlighted. Basic definitions, steps, principles, cycles, benefits, barriers, and harms of RC were briefly outlined. This brief review is intended to be a quick guide for health-care workers and risk communicators.
