Abstract
A method is described in which capillary gas chromatographic data from aviation turbine oils are processed by methods of pattern recognition based on the chemometrics systempackage ‘Ein*Sight’. It allows an automatic, objective and quantitative comparison of the base oil components of production batches. This application can be used to advantage in a control scheme based on analytical data.
