This protection coordination mechanism will change when the generating unit is integrated into the network. This occurs due to changes in the fault current due to the contribution of the fault current from the generator. The magnitude of the significant change is influenced by the location and capacity of the generating unit. The research objective is to develop an evaluation tool for the fuse mitigation process that is affected by mal coordination due to the location of the generator and the penetration level of the generator. The research methodology was carried out by developing software using MATLAB with the subject of the 34 node IEEE Test network study.
