Abstract
Summary This article draws on three contemporary writers on leadership, Keith Grint, John Paul Lederach and Julia Middleton, to explore ‘inverse learning’, ‘accidental sagacity’ and ‘leading beyond authority’ and what such insights can bring to the practice of leadership within and beyond Christian circles.
