In the practice of language teaching, it is helpful to improve the effectiveness of language teaching by learning from the theory of multimodal discourse analysis and give full play to the synergy of multimodal participation. Business English translation course covers the translation practice of international business activities, which is a kind of complex social communication and presents a multimodal development trend. Therefore, business English translation course has the characteristics of “business” and “application”. It is necessary to implement the practice teaching of interdisciplinary and cross-cultural communication in business situations. Combined with the characteristics of business English translation course, the application of multimodal teaching model has practical significance for promoting the teaching reform of business English translation course and improving its teaching quality. Abstract

: The multimodal teaching model originates from the multimodal discourse analysis. 商务英语翻译的多模态教学模式研究
多模态教学模式源于多模态语篇分析。多模态语篇分析理论主要强调形象、动作等社会符号在语篇传播中的重要作用。近二十年来,多模态教学模式逐渐进入教育领域。在语言教学实践中,借鉴多模态语篇分析理论有助于提高语言教学的有效性,充分发挥多模态参与的协同作用。商务英语翻译课程涵盖了国际商务活动的翻译实践,这是一种复杂的社会交际,呈现出多式联运的发展趋势。因此,商务英语翻译课程具有“商务性”和“应用性”的特点。在商务情境中实施跨学科跨文化交际实践教学是十分必要的。结合商务英语翻译课程的特点,运用多模态教学模式对促进商务英语翻译课程的教学改革,提高商务英语翻译课程的教学质量具有现实意义。将多模态教学环境、多模态教材、多模态教学方法和多模态评价相结合,构建商务英语翻译教学新模式,可以使商务英语翻译教学更加有效,有利于学生语言习得、翻译技能、跨文化能力和人文素质的同步提高。
