Methods: This study was interventional, semi-experimental and controlled (before and after). 180 women who referred to health centers have participated in this study and were divided randomly into two groups. The data collection method was a questionnaire based on Health Belief Model constructs and a checklist for selfmedication use. The questionnaires were distributed before and after the intervention, and finally, after 4 months, the information of both groups was collected again and analyzed. The data were analyzed by SPSS version 19, paired t-test and independent ttest.
