Since perception of privacy varies among different cultures, privacy priorities of each culture should be investigated separately. In order to provide a better insight into Malaysians opinions about their highly private in-home activities for designers of visual smart household systems, we conducted an anonymous survey with 217 respondents. In this paper, we discuss the outcomes of our survey in order to provide a reference for engineers working for the Malaysian market.
