For this purpose, it is known that synthetic dyes are widely used today when natural dye sources were used in the coloring of textile materials. In this study, it was tested whether the common mallow plant could be used as a natural dye source in the coloring of woolen fabrics without any previous extraction. For this purpose, experiments were carried out with 3 different concentrations of different mordant materials by using common mallow at the same weight with the fabric. The obtained colors and fastnesses were examined and compared with the samples dyed without use of any mordanting agent. Antibacterial analysis against Escherichia colibacteria was also performed on the sample dyed without use of any mordanting agent. Abstract
