For the purpose of back up, ZOR uses the forwarding candidates, which are selected by the greedy node. In case of communication hole, that is if an intermediate node fails or moves out of the coverage area of the node, then Virtual Destination-based Void Handling (VDVH) scheme is further proposed to work together with ZOR to provide an efficient and reliable data delivery. This is achieved by adjusting the direction of data flow temporarily.
