Abstract
The degree of influence of various geological factors on the formation and location of large oil and gas deposits is considered on the statistical data on open large and giant accumulations of hydrocarbons. An attempt has been made to establish correlations between the volume of hydrocarbon reserves in the megareservoir and geological parameters affecting the formation of both oil and gas deposits.
