Abstract

A new Cu-based complex of {[Cu2(L)2(phen)2(NO3)]·NO3} (1) (HL = p-hydroxy phenylacetic acid, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline) has been synthesized and structurally characterized. Single-crystal X-ray analyses reveal that compound 1 has a dinuclear Cu(II) unit linking by two carboxylate groups and one nitrate group.
