В статье освещаются проблемные вопросы установления причинно-следственной связи неисправности газовых шлангов бытовых плит с электрическим поджигом с возникновением пожаров и взрывов топливно-воздушных смесей. Дана уголовно-правовая оценка таким происшествиям на основе конкретных примеров из экспертной практики. Приведены рекомендации следственно-оперативным органам по работе непосредственно на местах пожаров и взрывов с целью всестороннего исследования места происшествия.
