Abstract
The environmentally assisted cracking (EAC) behavior of cast ASTM A27 Steel was studied in simulated Hanford groundwater at temperatures of 150°C and 250°C. Fatigue-crack growth tests were employed for this purpose, and the rationale for using cyclic loadings is discussed.
