Abstract

Power System State Estimation is used to estimate the states of power system. Conventionally, state estimation is an offline method for visualization of power system states. Microgrid are dynamic networks with rapidly changing scenarios. The offline or static state estimates fall behind the actual states of microgrid. Thus, this paper proposes a real time state estimation for microgrids using synchrophasors. Due to high sampling rates of PMU, the data measured through it provide the means for online visualization of microgrid.
