Abstract
[ANALYSIS OF SANITATION CLINIC MANAGEMENT FOR ARI CONTROL DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC] Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) is an environmental-based and to be considered normal by the community, while ARI that is not handled properly can end up with pneumonia or death. Sanitation clinic is a solution to overcome environmental-based diseases through promotive and preventive efforts. This study aims to analyze the input and process aspects in the implementation of a sanitation clinic for ARI control during the COVID-19 pandemic at the Puskesmas Kedung Badak, Bogor City. This research method is qualitative-descriptive, by conducting field observations and in-depth interviews with selected informants using purposive sampling technique. The results showed that there were no SOPs for sanitation clinics that were adapted to the pandemic situation, schedule discrepancies with applicable regulations, human resources that are not equipped with training related to sanitation clinics, no IEC media about ARI, also no counseling, inspection, and environmental health interventions for ARI patients during the COVID-19 pandemic. Based on these issues, there are things that are still not optimal both in the input and in the process aspect in the management of the sanitation clinic at the Puskesmas Kedung Badak, Bogor City.
