Isolated fungi of Chaetomiaceae, Mucoraceae, Mycosphaerelleaceae, Myxotrichaceae and Nectriaceae family were unable to produce enzyme. Maximum numbers of enzyme producing fungi belongede to Trichocomaceae family, followed by Incertae sedis.
