Abstract

Participants:The participants were 28 preschool children, between the ages of 3 and 5 years, were selected from a larger study that included 47 children. Inclusion criteria were (a) having at least 10% combined input/output in both English and Spanish, as determined through parents and teachers’ responses on the Bilingual Input-Output Survey (b) passing a hearing test, and (c) completing a language sample in at least one language.
