Abstract

A full polarization reconfigurable dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) is proposed in this paper. Fed with a quasi-lumped quadrature coupler (QLQC), the DRA can achieve vertical linear, horizontal linear, left-handed circular and right-handed circular polarization simply by changing the mode and input port of the hybrid. A reconfigurable DRA operating at 3.5 GHz has been investigated.
