Abstract

Quasi-periodicity and nonlinear phenomena in open and closed loop boost PWM DC/DC power converters are analysed. A new discrete time nonlinear mapping, the impact map, which models closed loop DC/DC power converters is presented and compared with the usual stroboscopic map.
