The SPR sensor based on hetero-core structured fiber optic was applied to measure refractive index of sucrose solution and fruit juices. The sensor part was immersed in sucrose solution and/or juice and the propagating light spectra were measured. Abstract
The surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensor was fabricated by depositing silver thin film on the surface of hetero-core structured fiber optic.
